From 9–11 April, the 16th Conference of the Austrian Society for Psychology took place in Salzburg – an excellent opportunity to gain an overview of current psychological research in Austria in a collegial atmosphere, and to present one’s own research to interested colleagues.
Among the nearly 400 participants, the DigiLab was also represented with two contributions: one poster presentation by Manuel Ninaus titled on the topic of how children with learning disorders assess and evaluate their performance in gamified learning tasks and another poster presentation by Stefan Huber on the topic of how video games might promote perceived competence, perseverance, and interest by reframing failure.
